FRAXEL RESTORE DUAL

Fraxel DUAL is best for younger patients between 30 and 50 who have early wrinkles or mild to moderate acne scarring or for those who can’t accommodate the downtime associated with more aggressive CO2 treatments.

The treatment targets ageing and sun-damaged skin using microscopic laser light columns which penetrate deep into the skin, delivering heat in tiny segments to the target area. As a non-ablative laser, this device does not treat the area as a whole, but in microscopic portions leaving treated skin sitting next to untreated skin.

This process promotes rapid healing with new, healthy skin cells re-generating from the inside outwards. Each treatment replaces between 15 and 20% of the sun-damaged, scarred or wrinkled skin. It triggers the body’s natural healing process accelerating the production of collagen and new, healthy skin cells.
